Restroom Sanitation Procedure

        →   Wear disposable gloves.

        →  DO NOT mix chemicals.

         →  Measure / use cleaning products per the instructions.

  • Place yellow “Wet Floor” sign or “Caution” bar at entrance for safety purposes.
  • Pour a few ounces of proper strength toilet bowl cleaner toilet bowl swab and apply thoroughly to inside of toilet bowl. Remove urinal screen from urinal and do same procedure.  Let product “work” and proceed to the next step
  • Empty all waste receptacles including sanitary napkin disposal units, and check floors for wastepaper. Replace sanitary napkin disposal bag. Replace poly liner bag in waste paper receptacle.
  • Dust mop entire floor of washroom including behind toilets.
  • Using a solution of 2 ounces of 64 Millennium Q per gallon of water, damp wipe all walls, doors, partitions, ledges, dispensers, trim and hardware. Wipe dry and polish with a clean microfiber cloth.
  • Clean all surfaces of sinks and faucets with the proper solution of 64 Millennium Q or PTE (Porcelain, Tile, Enamel) Cleaner. Rinse all surfaces thoroughly with clear water and wipe dry with a microfiber cloth.
  • Clean all mirrors and glass. Wipe dry and polish with a microfiber chamois cloth.
  • Clean & polish all stainless steel surfaces with stainless steel cleaner using dedicated microfiber cloth.
  • Return to toilet bowls and urinals and wash the insides surface of toilet bowls, toilet seat rim, and urinals using toilet bowl swab. Flush toilet and urinal after cleaning.  Replace urinal screen in urinal.
  • Rinse outside surfaces of toilet bowl, toilet seat and urinal with clean water and then wipe dry with a microfiber cloth.
  • Check and refill dispensers: soap, towel, toilet paper, feminine hygiene, and air freshener.
  • Wet mop the floor using 2 ounces of 64 Millennium Q per gallon of water, including behind toilets. Wring out wet mop head and mop up excess cleaning solution.  Do not rinse.  Let dry.
  • Remove yellow “Wet Floor” sign from washroom entrance after floor is dry.
  • Clean and store all equipment properly when finished. Rinse out wet mop head in clean water and wring dry. Rinse out mop bucket and wringer with clean water.  Dispose of gloves and trash properly in designated area.
